What is covered and how long coverage last
Auto Glass Direct warrants SunTek brand Automotive Window Film (the “Product”) against the defects in manufacture or materials set forth and for the time period ser forth below. This warranty is valid only if the product application was performed by a SunTek installer in the United Stated or Canada in accordance with manufacturer’s application procedures and applicable law.
Who is Covered
This warranty is offered only to the owner of the vehicle at the time of installation, and is not transferable.
How to Make a Claim
To submit a warranty claim you must submit the original warranty card, and the Original receipt (or other proof of purchase acceptable to the Manufacturer) for the product, Valid Identification and proof of ownership (i.e. Vehicle registration or Title) along with a detailed description of the defect, to Auto Glass Direct Co. or to SunTek. All warranties must be approved by the Manufacturer prior to commencement of any warranty service.
Window Film Care
To maintain the life and looks of your SunTek brand automotive window film and to ensure your warranty coverage certain care and maintenance are to be followed. Do not roll down the windows for five days and until the product has properly adhered to the glass. Do not wash the products for thirty days after installation. Do not use abrasive cleaners or coarse cloths. Use a mild soap and a clean, soft cloth or synthetic sponge.
Warranty Limitation
The express warranties contained herein are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. The manufacturer hereby disclaims all other express and implied warranties including the implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall the manufacturer or Auto Glass Direct be liable for any indirect, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or related to, the use of or inability to use the product, The breach of any warranty, any act or failure to act relating to this warranty, or otherwise including without limitation damages for loss of use, lost profits, interruption of business, or any other monetary or other loss, regardless of the form of action whether in contract, tort( including negligence), strict product liability, or otherwise, even if the manufacturer has been advised of or is otherwise aware of the possibility of such damages.
Exclusions and Miscellaneous Terms and Conditions
This warranty does not cover or apply to losses, costs, damages or defects arising from or caused by improper product application, improper product care, cleaning or abuse, misuse( including use not complying with applicable law), non-automotive applications, natural causes, accident, ordinary wear, damages caused by road debris, the physical impact of rock, abrasion or scratching or any other acts occurrences or defects, faults or damages not related to defects in materials or manufacturer of the product. Except as otherwise provided by applicable law, illegal application or use of product will render all warranties whether express or implied, null and void and of no effect and the manufacturer shall have no liability therefore. This warranty does not cover or apply to automotive sunroof/ moonroof systems of any shape, size or style whether original equipment, factory option or aftermarket installation. This warranty does not cover or apply, and the products should not be applied to, recreational vehicles, Nautical/ marine transport, rail transport, buses, poly (methyl methacrylate) also known as acrylic/acrylic glass and polycarbonate also known as plastic. Auto Glass Direct is an independent dealer/ installer and the Manufacturer is not responsible for improper installation or representation made by Auto Glass Direct. No Contractor, including the SunTek dealer. Installer, has any authority or power to modify or extend this warranty, the benefits under this warranty shall be the sole and exclusive remedy against the manufacturer for any loss arising out of the sale, application, and/ or use of the product. If any provision of this warranty is unenforceable or ineffective, the rest of this warranty shall remain in effect and be construed as if such provision had not been contained in this warranty.
